Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here: http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! It's a full moon tonight, and it's playing games with the fast-moving cloud cover. Got me thinking about the weather again, and all of those in the path of incoming, and very foul-tempered hurricane Irma in the US southeast and those still more than hip deep in Houston. Hope everyone's prepped and being careful. Let's see some weather photos (but no snow - I'm not ready for that yet!). A good Nikon Wednesday to all, and looking forward to what you share this week.
ShunCheung
Two weeks ago, we went whale watching in the Monterey Bay on the California coast, and I got some incredible views. That was by far the best whale-watching cruise I have ever been on, and I have been to over a dozen of them. This past Saturday we went again, but it was a fairly ordinary cruise. However, I got to see a lot of jellyfishes. Since the objective of the trip was whale watching, I didn't have any short and fast lenses like a 70-200mm/f2.8 and polarizer. The glare off the water surface was a bit of a problem. These images were captured with the 80-400mm AF-S VR with an FX body.

Matthew Currie
I've been a bit lazy about processing pictures from my latest trip to Iceland, islands and Norway, but here are a couple from Norway at least. It rains a lot, but it's pretty dramatic.

Matthew Currie
The view of the waterfront through the windows of the Hanseatic Museum. Interesting history. By the way, all these are taken with Nikon D7100 and 16-85 DX lens.

LeTGiao_Gallery
Along with Matts' concern of the weather change, I took some shots of the full (corn) Moon last night. These were taken with a Nikon D750, 28-300mm, f/11, 20 to 25 secs, ISO 100.
