Membership Renewal

Is there anyway to renew my paid membership so that I do not have the automatic renewal feature activated? While photo.net purportedly will notify me by e-mail before the next renewal date and provide a mechanism to decline any future renewals, I simply despise such auto renewal schemes, and after almost 20 years as a PN member and many years as a paid member, I am reluctant to renew my paid membership under these conditions.

I (more than) share your concern about this. My membership expires September 12, a busy time for me. I wrote to photo.net help a couple of days ago to ask them not to renew me. When I received no answer, I wrote and asked them to cancel. It's really annoying that there isn't a button to cancel, only to write to them.

I'd like to renew as well, but not under the current auto-renew structure using my credit card - PayPal as it was works for me.

 

Let me just add that I've been inactive for 3 years and frankly there's nothing keeping me here except for an inexplicable sense of loyalty which I'm still willing to pay for, but just not under the current payment terms.

My susbcription lapsed 22 days ago and my stuff is all still loaded on the site. I have to say I'm a tad surprised it has not been removed. Maybe p,net is hoping I'll renege.......?

 

After 10 happy years of paid up p.net membership I still can't get over the new website makeover and the seemingly endless litany of cock ups and techno snags - problem must be with me...........

 

If it ain't broke, don't fix it ,I'm still sticking with that sentiment and miss the former user freindly p.net site.

Hi Ken - I can set that up for you - it is coming - but until that happens we can do year to year for you manually. PM me once you renew and I'll make sure it is taken off auto-renew.
