WTB: Nikon MC-34, Photo Secretary for Mac

Recommended Posts

As stated above, I'm looking for one of the elusive MC-34 cables and associate software suite for Macs. The cable has a 10 pin plug for the camera on one in, a min-DIN 9 Mac serial port connector on the other end, and a box in the middle. I think that the software came on a couple of floppy disks usually packaged in an envelope.

This set-up was used to access shooting data(aperture, shutter speed, etc) that later high-end film bodies like the F5 and F100 stored, and supposedly also allowed access to custom functions that can't be set directly from the camera.

I have a strong preference for the Mac version and can easily handle whatever legacy ports and OSs it requires. With that said, if someone would like to part with the Windows version and the cable(I think it's either an MC-33 or 35-it's the same but had a DB-9 serial connector) I can deal with that also.

BTW, I know about Meta35 and am not interested in it at this time.

Thanks.
