Anyone switching from Profoto to Godox? Or using both?

Hi,

I have Profoto B1 & B2 with many Profoto and Elinchrom modifiers. While I love the reliabilty and support behind the Profoto gear I find it limiting to have to buy two sets of lights if I want to use AC. I want to get another B1 but also want the ability to use the modelling light on extended studio sessions and this really requires an AC plug. I looked at Profoto B1x/D2 and like the new features but wish Profoto would do what Godox has done for 1/3 the price: add an AC adaptor to the B1x.

Has anyone sold off their Profoto gear and bought Godox? How was the transition?

Have any of you bought 2-3 Godox AD600 to supplement your Profoto gear.

The Godox system(removable head, ac/battery options, doubling head to 1200w/s, $50 controller that controls multiple lights) really provides the solution I am looking for.

Are any of you using both systems together by stacking the Profoto air remote control on the Godox X1T-N wireless flash trigger?

I am looking at the Bowens mount AD600 and wanted to know how well the Bowens-Elinchrom adaptor works on 69" and 39" Octa?

Is there anyway to use Godox AD200 on the profoto Magnum or beauty dish? And if you cant, what does Godox/Bowens have that is similiar to Magnum or Profoto BD? Magnum is one of my favorite modifiers.

Thanks.

People who buy Profoto are not likely to sell them off for Godox. If you need studio strobes buy dedicated AC strobes. I personally do not do enough studio work that requires me to use AC packs. My B2 and Acuteb 600 serves me well for any indoor work I do. Profoto knows how to add the adaptor that you seek but for some reason they are not doing it.
