G-P
<p>Hello Everyone! I'd like to introduce "Helpful Suze" to our moderator crew! She will be moderating the help forum with me to get more timely responses to you all! If she doesn't know the answer - she'll ping directly either Jin or myself until we get it answered, resolved and/or fixed! She will also be pitching in other areas of photo.net so don't be surprised if you see her around more! </p> <p> </p>

G-P
<p>This one was on me - Helpful Suze was off for the weekend. The community pitched in on Geralds question thank you! Look at that - teamwork WHOOHOOO!! I hope and expect that we made this (critical and very important) task much more clear in design of 2.0. New members to our community want to upload, it shouldn't be this hard.</p>
erwin_schaefer
Greetings Helpful Suze! I joined PN in late ‘15 and something horrendous occurred when the new software encountered some of my posts sometime in 2016. Not for me but for PN. Instead of explaining I suggest you review my post on: End of Summer There are 8 more similar posts occupying a total of 180 pages. I have the data if required but all my email alerts netted no response so this is only to make you aware on the condition. In addition I had a hobby of collecting many accidental duplicate posts as well as more than 1 post per topic onto an Excel spreadsheet. I do not have all of them. Just 49 and counting. This is not a request for any sort of action. I am just concerned that my exploded posts might possibly affect the new interface upgrade in some way. William Michael
erwin, I confirmed that there was no image at the URL and then I deleted your three posts in the thread "End of Summer". I note in another conversation thread that you've mentioned duplicate image posts in the No Words Forum. I'll have a look at your posts in that Forum as my spare time permits and will remove any duplicate posts and no functioning URL links (i.e. gibberish like that in the "End of Summer" Thread). This thread is several years old. I think that "Helpful Suze", no longer exists WW
Sandy Vongries
WM -- Just another Zombie post from the prime reanimator,, "It's alive!" Is it Frankensteirn or Fronkenstein?
William Michael
I have no idea what that comment means, Sandy; but for clarity and for your information, I am a member just like you. But I've been a member for a few years longer than you and several years ago I was asked to assist as a Moderator. My "Moderator" title designates a totally voluntary role. The "Staff Member" title is a misnomer that was added when PN 2.0 was launched. I am not paid. My time and effort here is absolutely pro bono, hence the reference to "when my spare time permits": I work full time as a director of a company. (in AUS). William Michael
Thanks for clarifying. As mentioned, I was ignorant of the meaning of your post (and I assumed nothing), so I'll need to have a look at "Young Frankenstein" to work out the puzzle. . . Tim_Lookingbill
I've encountered duplicate images when posting in No Words threads. I fix it myself by deleting the entire post going through the Edit dialog box by first clicking Options. Then I re-upload the same image from my computer and Save Changes. It has fixed the problem on two separate occasions so far.
William Michael
Yes. As Tim described is one method as to how User/Member can utilize their period of editing time, after making a post, to remove a duplicate image. Another method is to use the edit function and within that, use the BBCode Editor to simply remove the additional image. WW
gordonjb
When I have inadvertently double posted and image in the same post, I do as William suggests and use the edit function to remove the second image.

erwin_schaefer
Sandy I vass dere. The most delapidated ruins ever. Here's how Mary Shelly spelled it. Mel Brooks played it for laughs. Also I worked with Madelein Kahn for a couple of years before she achieved fame. Photos if you're interested.
