Norma Desmond
Papa, thanks again for trying to help me figure it out. If it's not happening with you or others, my guess is it's just another PN2.0 random inconsistency, which may depend on what system and browser I'm using or what part of the world I'm in or what I ate for dinner last night. Probably not worth expending much energy on. More a curiosity than an annoyance. We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!
colin carron
The way I now decide whether to 'like' a photo in No Words is to ask myself 'If that were my shot would I be pleased with it?' If I get an unequivocal 'yes' then it gets 'Liked' As a purist I would prefer No Words and no Likes either.. That strikes me as more encouraging to less confident posters and also less artistically distorting (am I uploading stuff with an eye to getting 'Likes'?) gordonjb
I do not take the "like" function too seriously. For me it serves as a tip of the hat for contributions that fit and/or creatively interpret the posted subject. What I do take exception to is any form of written banter. The rest of this site is rife with opinions. I think the no words forum should speak only through images.
