marc_andre
My favorite locations are in the American southwest like Utah and Arizona. The Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Zion National Park are among my favorites. But I live in the northeast, so most of my photos are out this way. This part of the country has waterfalls, some mountains, and beautiful forests. One of my favorite spots in the northeast is Letchworth State Park. I wrote up an article about the park and tips for photographing it - https://loadedlandscapes.com/letchworth-state-park/ The photo below is from Letchworth.
steve_rasmussen
Even though Arizona is hard to beat, my favorite place is the South Pacific. A 35mm film shot, taken with Provia 100.
david_henderson
I don't really do favourites. But here's the place I spent last week- Norway's Lofoten Islands. This one's from above the beach at Myrland in foul weather. If I did do favourites, the Lofotens would be amongst them along with Iceland, north-west Scotland, parts of Italy, and several parts of the USA and Canada. I also like colourful urban landscapes; either modern as in Pudong, Dubai, New York, or colonial as in Cuba, parts of Mexico .

rossb
I would not say that Half Dome is my favorite landscape scene but I have a permit to hike it on June 8th. I have not hiked up Half Dome before but I am an avid hiker and am excited about the permit. I plan on taking pictures of course and will take a 35mm with HP5 and shoot it at 400. I will also take a few contrast filters and a 28mm and 50mm lens.. I will also shoot some vidio of the water falls with my cell.
polydemic
I found that Alaska has the most spectacular views. A picturesque suburb of Juneau, with Mt Juneau shrouded in mist, in the background.
sebastian_kovanchev
Romania, this place pretty much looks like the set for Lord of the Rings (This is not my picture unfortunately, I've put it here to show how beautiful Romania can be)
susanmarie
No one mentioned Big Sur? It's heartbreaking that it is currently inaccessible.

Gup
My favourites for landscapes are the Atlantic coast fishing villages from the Gaspe peninsula south to Bar Harbour, all the coastal areas of Newfoundland, and the Cinque Terre shores of Italy. Closer to home I have La Cloche mountains in Killarney Provincial Park, a canoeing paradise. But it's the Canadian east coast that draws me back year after year. This is over Tuscany, Italy, shortly after dawn.

photo_galleries
Seems like I have a new favorite every time I go on holiday. I recently got back from The Maritimes, so that's my new favorite. Note: I realize that a "pure" landscape photo should not include any man-made structure, so please forgive me this one transgression. http://www.leonin.net/img/s7/v166/p2354246417-4.jpg
