Anybody home?

I was thinking about a long marriage; there may be lots of things, which are not in perfect state, but you just stay with it and you don't have the courage to go separate ways..... I have been uploading new photos and I still can't fill in all the information, but I don't care, I just do it and hope it will be ok someday.

I've been thinking it would be better to go back to the previous Photo.net, unless there are air-tight plans to address all the issues. That's my vote!

I gather we have reached the POINT OF NO RETURN. The language in which the old site is written is obsolete.

Yes Ray, the lights are on but nobody is home!

PN has always relied on the members for serious content and discussion. Over all there was a guiding presence. The members can only do so much. Management is either invested in the project or not. We are getting to the point where only the lifeboats are afloat and no captain aboard. It would be nice to think otherwise. I could be wrong. That would be nice. Is there some residual value? Guess so or why do I check in from time to time. Life goes on.

Got to say, Glen was responsive -- he may be away. I had questions on the old PN when I first joined a couple of years ago that were never answered except by other members. Some things never change. Clearly there will be no going back -- that has been stated and restated.

Sandy, that was the "old PN." (emphasis added)

A sign of life!

Glen, there are *SO MANY* bugs and usability problems. I've reported a half-dozen, and this is the first response.

Is there a better way to report them?

Are you all alone there? Will the pace of rebuilding and repair pick up?

For the sake of discussion, let's assume that Admin is keeping an eye on Site Help threads. If so, they are deliberately ignoring our concerns or just don't give two (2) sh*its.

Bottom line is whether or not things get fixed. You can report something, admin can say they’ve received it but the next step is the most important one, fixing the problem. As consumers, we should be patient but eventually things need to be resolved.

I would agree Rick. We will update the bug report and publish as soon as completed.
