fredsphotos
Anyone know how to repair scratches on silver aluminum Nielsen frames? Someone mentioned Rub-A-Buff but I've yet to try it. Thanks!
Spearhead
I've used black Sharpies on black Nielsen frames, Sharpie does have silver pens, might be worth a try. You may want to see how close it matches by using it on the back of one of the frame pieces. Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal

robert_bowring
You might try wet sanding with with very fine sandpaper. You should be able to match the original finish with the correct sandpaper. A few years ago a friend gave me about 50 new Nielsen frames. They were all the same size and style that I use for framing my prints but they were all different finishes. I wet sanded them and used a spray primer and then a spray enamel to paint them. It worked really well.
