Repairing scratched Nielsen frames

Anyone know how to repair scratches on silver aluminum Nielsen frames? Someone mentioned Rub-A-Buff but I've yet to try it. Thanks!

I've used black Sharpies on black Nielsen frames, Sharpie does have silver pens, might be worth a try. You may want to see how close it matches by using it on the back of one of the frame pieces.

You might try wet sanding with with very fine sandpaper. You should be able to match the original finish with the correct sandpaper. A few years ago a friend gave me about 50 new Nielsen frames.They were all the same size and style that I use for framing my prints but they were all different finishes. I wet sanded them and used a spray primer and then a spray enamel to paint them. It worked really well.
