Alex_Es
It's April and suddenly today in Kobe it went from winter to spring. Okay, FD, FL etc. shoots, show us your stuff! My new I got a Canon FL 58/1.2 and found it could only stop down on an FL Camera without serious and possibly damaging modification. So I decided to get an FL Canon. I wanted an FT or, possibly, a Pellix. My search proved surprisingly daunting. I hit every camera shop i knew in Kansai and all I came up were two "junk" FTs and one meterless FP (1964) in "B" condition at Naniwa Camera, Kobe for 6000 yen. It's a comfortable camera and fun with a handheld meter.
Alex_Es
Here's the FP with the 58/1.2.
Alex_Es
I turned my best shot with the FP and 58/1,2 into a panoramic. Oh yes, the above shot was with a Fuji X-E1 and FD 35/2 chrome nose. This no doubt accounts for the glow.

All right there 30 yards in front of me...got a couple dozen various shots...here's one.

JDMvW
As some of you know, I'm still plugging along on the transition to automated cameras. Here is Canon's 1985 contribution to early AF lenses -- an FD mount AF lens for the Canon T80: Canon AC 50mm f/1.8 (FD mount)
chuck909
OMG - I remember when that auto-focus lens came out. I worked for a camera retail chain at the time and when the rep showed it to me I though, "who in their right mind would want auto-focus?"
rick_janes
Alex, that's a beautiful and natural-looking sunset panoramic. I sure dig film's palette and capture!
