clark_roberts
Hi all, I was going thru the bidding site the other day I saw this great deal on a 20mm f2.8A lens, as I click and read it was in decent shape but! (always a but) the aperture didn't work. So i thought what the heck there pretty straight forward lenses and I fix a few before so I bid and in the last moments won. once I get it it should be pretty nice on the K5ii a nice 30mm view and tip's using it?. I have a 24mm f2 fa which is a great lens. I did notice these full frame lenses are getting harder to find so I guess this is a good find. stemked
I have the lens and if you can ever find it, the supercool looking lens hood, really looks sharp. I hadn't been using it a lot since leaving film until I got the K1 and now I'm back to loving the lens again.
john_shriver
So long as all the parts are intact, having Eric Hendrickson fix it is probably $45. Probably just oil on the iris. But I'm sure the construction is pretty much the same as all Pentax-A series lenses.
clark_roberts
Sorry it took so long to respond, well I did get the lens and I went though it. First the aperture kept getting stuck so I did clean it and that helped it works better but it kept getting stuck until I found the problem there's a spring and a boom-a-rang shape bracket and the spring on that was weak so I bend it a bit to make it stronger and now the aperture work better it does not get stuck. All in all and pretty nice lens and with the K5 anti-shake it 's really good.
