jim_air Posted March 16, 2017 Share Posted March 16, 2017 I have just finished calibrating my monitor with Spyder 4. I do this about every 3/4 months. In the past I have always had to lower the brightness substantially by using the menu and buttons at the front/bottom of my monitor. However today I did not have to lower the brightness at all, although this clearly seems to have happened by some means in the before and after images. Is it the case nowadays that the Spyder upgrades the calibrator instead of what we had to previously manually do with the menu? Tentatively happy but somewhat perplexed.
