Your lens is from about 1967. Similar but not exactly the same as the last ones. Over

time lenses change.

Cl indicates that the lens has a linearized aperture scale. The distance between each stop

marked on the aperture scale is the same. The non CL versions had unequal spacing

between stops on the aperture scale.

As you indicated, your lens was originally sold by Klimsch for one of their process

cameras. Make sure you leave the filter slot closed for non process work!

I can confirm that old apo-ronar 360/9 must have 54.5mm front thread. will measure said .5 pitch.
SN 57009827
i compared/ measured inner and outside dimensions where i had them(55mm filter) and from differences i have got 54.33mm for lens-thread.
since lens/filter got 54.83mm i added .17mm to both to get 55mm rsp 54.5mm! BINGO

It looks like the old data sheets on the Paul Butzi site and the linos.de site have been taken down.

Often, when you get an old barrel-mounted lens like this, you end up having to do some sort of lens hack to attach filters or other accessories. I've been there and done that with a few old lenses. It's generally not worth it to pay retail prices for filters and adapters in arcane sizes, or, heaven forbid, custom-machined adapters. You're better off putting the money towards a newer lens.

If it were me, I'd improvise an adapter. One easy solution: buy a dirt-cheap 62 to 58mm step-down ring, which has an inside diameter of about 59mm. This will fit very loosely over the outside of your lens mount (which measures 56.5mm to 57mm). It will hold a 58mm filter perpendicular to the lens axis, but it will fall off, so secure the step ring with masking tape, and you're in business. You're going to be using this thing on a tripod, anyway, and who cares what it looks like?

http://www.prograf.ru/rodenstock/largeformat_en.html#table1

These tables are NOT for older Apo-Ronars like mine which seems to be a Klimsch. Have also a 480/9 Klimsch

Regarding eff. FL it important to know that on Novoflex Follow-Focus-system the used 400 and 600mm Noflexars are matching exaxtly the given FLs. Novoflex told. Staeble made them, Novoflex told.

Not like Apo-Ronar 360/9 which is in reality smaller. see franks thread:

The lens is 360mm f/9 has an effective focal leight 355,6mm,

this important when one wants to adapt them to the Novoflex B,C or D-system. if tube does not match the right lenght one must use bellows to prolong. infinity-adjustment-range is not that large.

I have only data from bobs links

360/9 lens data from frank see above:

Filter thread M54.5x0,5

overall lenght(corrected) 54,0 and the screw thread is m72,1(Certainly he meant M72 x 1).

cannot verify(only filterthread is) since lens is taped onto Novoflex B-system.
