howardstanbury
Torpids is the early spring boat racing here in Oxford and this last week has seen four days of racing (the aim is to catch or bump the boat(s) in front and take their position in the next day's races). Over 130 crews, each of eight rowers and a cox, participate so it is a big event in college life. This is one of the races in the second-lowest women's division. I like the commitment, effort and support here - in tough conditions too! (A7 and E 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 OSS)

randy_cooprider1
On my evening walk I saw this pump in a cow pasture. The water table is about seventy feet down so this must be a deep well pump. There is no trough so it has been abandoned. Sony A100 35-105 lens ISO 400 program mode.
