steve_bingham
I just got back into medium format and purchased a new Pentax 6x7. My third one. Sold the other two years ago. <p> In any case I can't remember where I used to find the sleeves for this size chrome. My old ones even have room for a label. They are black matts. I could sure use the phone number and/or address for some suppliers. <p> Thanks, Steve
braden_walters
I'm not quite sure what you mean by sleeve. If you mean the plastic archival storage sheets, then check out Print File. They have many different designs for all formats. The most useful for 6x7 are their 120-3HB style, which holds 3 three-frame strips (for negatives), and their 120-9HB style, which holds 9 individual 6x7 frames (for transparencies). I don't have a phone number, but their address is <p> Print File, Inc. P.O. Box 607638 Orlando, FL USA 32860-7638 <p> And, of course, on the web at http://www.printfile.com. <p> If you mean individual slide mounts, then I would like to get some myself! ;-) I have a boatload of the old metal-and-glass mounts (6x6), but I don't like using them (anyone want to buy a bunch??). <p> Braden
john_dixon1
I use 4x5 sleeves for each frame. They are a little cumbersome to handle with cotton gloves, but I like being able to sort and study them on a light box without touching the film surface. I use a print storage box to arrange them by topic. The sleeves have room to annotate each transparency without obscuring the image. I didn't like the sleeves for 3 frames of 120, because unrelated images would have to be stored together making retrieval more difficult. I hope this help. Its a self sealing cardboard mount, also hasfile pages to fit the mounts. I dont mount unless using for submission, otherwise file using print file pages - my lab frequently does this for me(returns already stuffed in).
