stephen_hynes
I have recently purchased a 203 and a few lenses. The Diaphragm of the 50 FE was delivered DOA and returned for repair. Great for F2.8, but none other.
Next, I noticed that the mirror would fail to return with slow exposures. I removed the screen and it appears to open unevely, resting perhaps 2 mm lower on one side in the open position. This could explain its stickiness.
The camera appears to be very well made, and I have trouble buying the idea that Hasselblad is going downhill in this respect. But I would like to know if others have had similar problems.
Perhaps they don't make enough of these things to get it right - they are so very expensive.
Steve Hynes
tim_brown
Did you get this gear from a major, reputable dealer. They might have sent you some abused gear, damaged in shipping, rejected by others, etc.
sandy_schaffell
FYI...Hasselblad now has a new website...hasselbladusa.com. Let them know about your problem, too.
