cassian_lee
I'm considering buying the Maxxum 5 body, Minolta 3600HS(D) flash and a Tamron 28-200mm ultra zoom lens. When I read the specs for the Maxxum 5, it says that you need a "D" series lens to take advantage of the ADI(Advanced distance integration) flash metering. Does the Tamron lens work with ADI? codrut_ion
Does other D type AF lenses for Minolta mount works with ADI? I would see that as a must, to build a lens that uses all features of the camera. Or Minolta kept its right of producing ADI lenses? I don't beleive so. michael_hohner
Some Sigma lenses support ADI. Go to www.sigma-photo.com for details.
