Changes to Minolta Forum, pl,ease?

Dear moderator(s):

 

Can we get the following changes to this forum?

 

First, we need a longer thread life before it is archived. One week

isn't enough. Can we set it so the 40 or so most recent threads

appear on the screen?

 

Second, we need categories for archived posts. I would propose the

following categories (not intended to be exhaustive, just off the top

of my head).

 

- Autofocus SLR

- Manual focus SLR

- Digital

- Point and shoot

- Vectis

- Medium format

- Light meters

 

If necessary, the camera categories above could be broken down into

subcategories, e.g. for Maxxum/Dynax/Alpha AF cameras, we can have AF

lenses, AF cameras, AF accessories, etc.

Medium format? Did I miss something here?

Yup -- you missed the Minolta Autocord.

And Minolta Rangefinders.

 

And Minolta Press.

 

And Minolta Folders.

Given the very few questions here about the Autocord, do we really need a separate category?

Given the fact that it's a separate and distingishable camera from the 35mm models, and also that it costs nothing to have another category, why not have one?
