gene_payne1
I have a used Minolta Auto Meter III F and no user's manual. Can anyone tell me what the purpose is of the 1.8" tip jack connector located on the revolving head is for? I don't think it is used to trigger the flash being measured. hal_bissinger
Probably an external sensor for macro or other situations where you can't stick the regular dome.
bob_finley
I don't have any personal experience with that particular meter but just in case you mean 1/8" jack connector, there is a small connector for attaching the Minolta Booster to many of the Minolta meters. The Booster can be adjusted for lower light levels, ground glass and microscope light readings etc. There is also a miniature remote incident dome that can be attached.
