Member69643
Had to share one more. They say that a loaded squirt gun is an effective dog training tool. Simply squirt the dog when he does some unwanted behavior.

These people have never had a Labrador or Golden. :)

Andrew Garrard
Ah, autumn mists. Lovely shots, everyone - several demonstrating that I might get some prettier images if I could drag myself out of bed earlier. (Okay, it's 5:40am here, but I'm working...)

Still getting through my holiday snaps (and mostly wondering where all the good photos went), I can't do hallowe'en, but I can vaguely go orange. Grand Canyon, Mather Point, when the sun finally peeked through the rain.

Andrew Garrard
Oops - sorry for interrupting Kari!

Here's the crowd at Mather Point waiting for the sun to come out. The problem with rushing around like I did is that I didn't have time to wait for the weather. The Grand Canyon is rainier than I'd expect.

Andrew Garrard
I tried to dash to Bright Angel trail head for the last of the sun, but ran out of light (partly working out where to park). But the sky was still orange, so hopefully that fits the theme. And we managed not to walk over the edge after having dinner, which (given the lack of lighting) was a bonus. The bats came out after this shot!

Matthew Currie
JDM, that tree is still there. It's said by some to be the most photographed tree in the world. The tree is a little scrawnier, but I took a picture last year that could be laid over yours like tracing paper. The field of view is a little narrower, but the angle is almost identical.

I'd like to think of this not as being a cliché but two photographers getting it just right!
