GerrySiegel
I am impressed with the photos. Some of them. And one can learn from the misses as well as the hits. I see a lot hits. I own the GX 7 which is a small and capable version that can be had mint for about $400 USD. It fulfills the concept of very small and with the full package of goodies. Check out this page and join if the mood suits. Regular activity from a world wide base of amateur users -which I admire. http://www.facebook.com/groups/358376044292729/?fref=nf
Greg M
It's a nice little camera. Just don't try and do all that much in manual exposure mode where you are controlling the ISO setting manually. For some insane reason, Panasonic limited the active histogram in manual mode to only shutter speeds from 1/1000 second and below, so the minute you move above 1/1000 second the live histogram and EVF remains the same, whether you have the shutter speed set to 1/1500 second or 1/8000 second. Quite worthless for manual exposure work. With the E-M1 you can set an exposure of 1/8000 second at f2.8 in manual mode and see exactly what the scene will look like in the EVF and the live histogram. Not so with the GX7.
