POTW 12/4/2016

<p>Hi Folks.<br /> Starting a bit early this week, papers for grading is coming down in torrents. <p>I remember those "walks"! A fair bit of pulling along, always.</p>

<p>We got our first snow. Here's a few looks:</p><div></div>

<p>I shot about 20 of these head shots in my "home studio" (basement music/photo/project studio) over the weekend for a project I'm doing with the local hospital. They want photos of people born at the hospital that will be prints in the newly remodeled OB unit. <br>

It's been going pretty smoothly with a few small hitches here and then but I really like how most of the shots are coming out. Here are a couple.<br>

<p>We had our town tree lighting ceremony which is very popular with residents and tourists over the weekend too. Santa comes in and "lights the tree" from a bucket truck. :)<br>

<p>I really like the POTW, and seeing it atrophy has saddened me. So, I'll now try to contribute a few from a trip to San Diego a couple of months ago (but only very recently processed).<br>

<p>Rick-pretty challenging lighting there. Looks like you got all the detail in the dark areas without blowing out the rest. Nice.<br>

Nick-no snow here yet, but we should have some soon. Nice to see some folks are already shooting in it.<br>

Patrick-love the way you nailed the expression on your pooch! Really mindful.<br>

Nice to see a few more images posted this week. I was beginning to wonder if I had left the lights on too long!<br>
