mark_stephan2
I recently purchased a Canon 6D and I've been using a pair of Canon 430EX's with the camera and I'm suffering from underexposure problems from both flashes. I have to add 2/3 to 1-1/3 exposure compensation to get a proper exposure. I don't have that problem with my ancient 12.8mp 5D. The 430EX's are quite old and that may be the problem. I'm thinking about getting a 430EX III but before I do I'd like to know if it's compatible with my Canon ST-E2 optically? I love to use my flashes off camera. If there's a compatibiltiy issue I may get the 430EX II's or the YongNuo equivalent.
JosvanEekelen
Yes, googling st-e2 and 430EX III led me to the dutch Canon website which states that 430EX III and ST-E2 are compatible.
