Found him checking out some tiny tufts of spider web on a door frame, on his way to some damp foliage for a bit of hunting. Good luck, fragile little creature. He's a youngster - at most two inches long. Whatcha got, this last Wednesday in November? Looking forward to a bunch of 1000-pixel glory.

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dieter Schaefer Posted November 30, 2016 Share Posted November 30, 2016
Testing out the D500 with 16-80 that my wife will get for Xmas:
<a title="Coast Guard" href=" data-flickr-embed="true">

<a title="Coast Guard" href=" data-flickr-embed="true">

Now forced into using LR 6.7 since my CS6 ACR can't be updated to read D500 files (and I am not going to pay adobe eternally a leasing fee for CC). Already downloaded the new ON1 RAW converter but haven't had the time to play with it yet.

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Andrew Garrard Posted November 30, 2016 Share Posted November 30, 2016
It was lovely and clear this morning, with very pretty frost, and last night would have been a good one for astrophotography. Unfortunately, Nikon still have my camera for cleaning/minor repairs, so I'll have to let John and Peter represent the UK, and I'll have to post something warmer instead - since I was there anyway after my Antelope shots from last week. The directions correctly said that Horseshoe Bend isn't far from the parking space. Unfortunately I failed to get out of bed, so I did this in mid-day heat, and the directions didn't really tell me how far up and down it is. This was warm (and I was blocking the sun from my camera with my body - it might still be to blame for the grip material shifting).

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Andrew Garrard Posted November 30, 2016 Share Posted November 30, 2016
I'm not sure the river is supposed to be this colour (especially given what "Colorado" means), but hey. I'm going to cheat - this one is by my wife, because I was so hot I was unsteady on my feet and she's more comfortable standing near edges.

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
