That's where I live so I can offer a few things. The Jule Collins art museum is quite good but I am not sure what is being shown right now. I'll check and let you know what might be coming up. If you are coming to Auburn by all means walk by Toomers Corner and get a shot. It is the best known landmark here and if you are going by it well, why not. I can't think if any technology museums here off hand but again, I'll double check for what is new recently. There is a large university campus which supports much of this area and some of it is interesting to see, some quite dull. Check Samford tower and Hargis Hall, both a short walk from Toomers. The University Chapel goes way back but is a beautiful and small place. The stadium is easy to find but fairly dull. I would by all means get a tour of the Southeast Raptor Rehab Center, there is a large number of birds of prey there permanently or being treated for injury and prepared to be returned to the wild. Actually the Auburn mascot, a bald eagle flown at the opening of home football games lives there. Also close by is the vet school and they will be happy to show you around if you call ahead. It's a big place and there is a lot to see. The city of Opelika is close by and has a modest history museum. The town of Loachapoka is quite small but has a small museum as well. There are several smaller towns close by that make for interesting photos and I enjoy exploring them. You can certainly find enough to see and photograph. I'll message you with some contact info for me if I can help you in any way when you are here. I can also show you where the good restaurants are.
