Managing to get 2nd curtain sync on non compatible flashes

Hello everyone,

I met one issue about managing to get 2nd curtain sync on non compatible flashes (mostly studio flashes for example) with a Canon camera.
This issue has been already discussed on this forum few times and, due to canon design, 2nd curtain sync cannot be selected anymore on their latest models.... unless it has a canon flash attached.
Some solutions have been found since but mostly very expensive or not ideal in some occasion:
-Attaching a compatible flash to the camera body, using it at a trigger at 1/128 of its power
-Using a PocketWizard “MiniTT1 for Canon” or “FlexTT5 for Canon
Some talked also about some cheap Chinese radio trigger from youngnuo. Indeed I have one of them, the YN622C-Tx with its compatible receiver the YN622C. It is possible to select 2nd curtain sync on the transmitter for the receiver to turn on the 2nd sync curtain on the flash attached to its hot shoe, and only if the flash is able to do it!! So this transmitter does not do the job, it just sends the command to the flash.

The first solution is the one I use in studio or in some case I don't have to move that much. The second solution is very expensive (more than the flash itself!)
But there is one case I can't find a praticable solution. I do a lot of event and nightclub photography, I have this Godox AR400, a flash ring that I want to use in night club (too powerful but for this I already found a solution). This flash does not have 2nd curtain sync. For now the only way is to attached a small flash on the camera body and to put the AR 400 in slave mode.... you can imagine the look of the people when they see me with all this material.... and this is quite heavy too.

So, I am open to any solution that would cross your mind!
thanks
