What is this lens?

It doesn't appear to have a diaphragm, which presumably means it's at f/0.8 all the time. Not going to be very sharp. I presume the focal length is 125mm.
Make a cardboard lens board for it and see what happens. No idea what the coverage would be.
Probably was for some sort of film recording device, maybe for recording CRT displays of brief events. Or maybe from a photocopier.

Thank you, I have found more pictures of that lens.
Maybe you can recognise more from that pictures.
Maybe I would like to buy it but I would like to know an aperture and approximate coverage.
The seller has no clue about the technical data of that lens.
Thank you

It's a lens off an x-ray machine. Not too useful for traditional photography. They weigh a ton, and coverage is relatively small, no large format photos with this thing. I have a couple, and they make for interesting macro lenses when free-handed. There are people that ill pay more then the seller's asking price; I sold 3 of them for $400 each, and I bought them for $10 each. People pay for that f/0.8 (mine were f/0.95 and f/0.75). But they do make good paperweights!
