<p>Thanks Laura for the ID - first time I've come across this one in my yard, so easy to miss with such a short life span. The amazing thing is how they all arrive at once, I guess their synchronization has something to do with a narrow range of temperature and humidity and perhaps the phase of the moon.</p>

I've been busy all summer with other-than-photography related things but never miss visiting MIN each week. I have 105 gigs of travel photos from Italy earlier this year that I work on when time allows, but almost none qualify for uploading here...<br>

I am leaving Ontario in less than 2 weeks for a drive to south eastern California so perhaps I will encounter some nature along the way. If so, I will share what I find.<br>

On the side, I'm open to any and all suggestions as to what route I should drive and what I might find along the way. I will be driving a very well equipped camper van so back roads are favoured. Time is of no consequence, although I do have a reservation in Las Vegas for October 11th.</p>

<p>Gup, surely you have a picture of some grapes. They're always photogenic. Just show them without the trellis. ;-)</p>
