LeTGiao_Gallery
I am baffled with a couple of issuss n my D610. I have been using SIGMA 24-70 2.8D and SIGMA 15-30mm with this body for sometime. Yesterday, when I mounted the 28-70mm lens, I saw an fEE error on the top LCD display. I checked the tab that locks the lens aperture at its smallest, and the tab was in place. The aperture ring did not move. When I turned the camera on, it displays fEE error and refuses to function. I tried anther lens, SIGMA 15-30mm, same result. I tried the SIGMA 50mm 2.8 macro lens, ditto.

I then tried a NikonAF 50mm 1.8, same result. When I mount the 28-300mm AF-S VRII, it works fine. This lens comes with the body and I use it was my walkraound.
Then I mounted a Nikon 105mm 2.5 AI, set Non CPU lens accordingly and select it. which used to work before, as far as metering is concerned. Now I can longer meter with this lens, the aperture is not correctly reflected in the display in the viewfinder. It stays at 11 no matter where I turns the aperture ring on this lens.

In sum, I am experiencing two distinct problems:
1. Not recognizing NON-Nikon lenses, even though these same lenses work on this body before.
2. No metering with Nikon AI lens.

I checked/cleaned all the contacts on the lens, and cleaned the contacts on the body. These lenses work fine on a D7000 body.
Are there any settings in the D610 that have anything to do with these issues? I tried all the things I could think about to correct the problem, all to no avail.

Please help if you have any experiences on these issues or ideas on how to overcome them. Thank you all.

LeTGiao_Gallery
Thanks for you reply. I figured out that the camera now only works with G lenses. Something is amiss with the aperture follower tab and its associated components.
I will call Nikon Tech Support for a repair tomorrow.
