graham_kennedy1
Every time I've used my land camera the film has had dark lines on the left and right side of frame and sometimes there is one and sometimes two. It looks like the bellows of the camera are almost bending into the frame? However the bellows look fine and are locked into position. Camera has a fresh battery and shutter appears to be firing fine. Also I've tried pulling the film out with many variations of speed and I always pull it out properly straight out not down or up. Never encountered someone with a problem like this. Please help

AJG
I think it is a processing problem, not a camera bellows problem. Check the rollers and clean them with rubbing alcohol first and a soft cloth (be sure they're dry before you put them back in), and see if that helps. Also, it looks to me as though you may be pulling the film too fast so that the chemistry doesn't spread evenly to the edges. Is this film fresh or is it out dated by quite a bit. Old film packs don't always age well.
glen_h
Places where the chemicals don't reach come out white, so that isn't it.
I think that is also usual for roller problems, but maybe not.
Pulling to the side causes one side to be bad, but this is pretty equal on the two sides.
You should be able to see bellows shadows looking through the back with the shutter open.
(block the photocell and the shutter stays open.)

(You can take the film pack out in the dark, and place it in a light proof container.
When you put it back, be sure the white tabs go the right way.)
-- glen
