Gus Lazzari
Mr. Espinoza & others... I found a reference to the Leica Factory museum in Solms; "Thought by some to be the toughest 35 mm SLR ever built. The Leica Solms museum has on display an SL2 MOT with Motor and 35 mm Summicron which survived a 25,000 foot fall from a Phantom II fighter jet: battered but in one piece, and deemed repairable by Leica." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leica#R_.28SLR.29_series People... need I say anymore ??? - Gus
zapata_espinoza
Gus, this is long time known and scientifically speaking proves nothing (similar to the proverbial >received a rounf of AK47 bullets on my Nikon F- the camera saved my life...<

stephen_york3
Having owned and used Nikons (an F2, several F, an F3 and a F3HP), Minolta (X700), Zeiss (Bullseye and Contaflex IV), Topcon ®, Canon (FTB), Leicas, (R7, Leicaflex, SL, SL2), and some others, and played with even more, I can attest that the Leicaflex are the nicest SLRs. They all can take great pictures, even the Nikons, but my favorite is the Leicaflex SL by a wide margin. A big, bold and beautiful viewfinders, and a braking system that allows sharp images at very slow shutter speeds. Whats not to like about this camera.
