Mukul and Edward:
Yes, the Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM is an extremely fine lens and my early pictures show very high resolution and contrast at wide apertures placed against a foil of creamy soft bokeh. Highlights stay round and pretty. It's no fly weight, but since I use a battery grip on my camera, it balances well. AF speed and accuracy is noticeably improved over my adapted Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 which had been my go-to portrait lens for years. The availability of Eye-AF is a nice plus though I don't use it all the time.

00dzpT-563651584.jpg.c3682088d908e11db9d78ef76da24c4a.jpg
