Ilford FP 4

<p>Will it be possible to develop Ilford FP4 in a commercial C41 process? I will not do it myself.</p>

<p>No. Mistakenly trying to run non C-41 films can wreck their chemistry.</p>

<p>Not to mention it will leave you a nice clear strip of film. The bleach will remove everything.</p>

Like Larry said. C-41 will erase all images on your FP-4+ film

FP4+ and other conventional black & white films are very easy to develop. Inexpensive powdered developer and fixer are

much less expensive than C41 and with the temperature control needed.

just a paterson tank and reel, a bottle of Rodinal, some fixer, a dark bag, a timer and a flask of tea and after an hour and a half you will have a Stand Developed roll of FP4 which you will look at, and if there are any images on the film, say to yourself Ha, that was OK.<br>

Of course there will be images on the film and the magic feeling of that moment never goes away, not even after 50 years.</p>
