I attended a friend's wedding at City Hall in NYC (where I learned weddings aren't actually held at City Hall, but at the City Clerk's office just up the street). I got a glimpse of the powerful workings of the Invisible Hand: photographers hang out by the entrance to offer on-demand wedding photography to the happy couples!
