vijaykoul
I am having a photographic display but my only problem is that sponsor does not like the canvas or glass prints because the photos has to be put on office like dividers which cannot hold these prints because of its weight. The back of the photo has to be put on the dividers with velcro tape. My second preference is thin metallic type portraits but still worried about weight. Any suggestions please.
willis
I would have prints made just for this presentation and have them dry mounted on foam board.
willis
I forgot to add that if there is any damage, you still have the originals.
Also a light frame could be added.
AzDavid
Do you have access to the tops of these dividers? Could you hang a removable hook or bracket from the top? If so, you might consider one of the many cable systems available online. (Ex: https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Art-Hanging-System-Gallery/dp/B003174K82).

Your photographs would hang from the hooks and would be suspended on either metal or clear nylon cord (fishing wire) in front of the precious dividers. A cheaper option would be finding appropriate hooks and cord at a hardware store. Many art installations are done this way.
David H
AJG
As I learned the hard way many years ago, prints put up in public spaces will be fingerprinted a lot and ruined. David's idea is a good one, as you should be able to put up framed prints behind glass.
DavidTriplett
Photos submitted to our state fair for competition are stipulated to be mounted on foam core. The fair managers then attach them to the "carpet" covered dividers using self-adhesive hook and loop (velcro). (Using the hook side only.) Images displayed thus must be considered expendable, due to public interaction with them, but it is a fairly inexpensive and flexible method, and appears similar to your situation. I'm with Willis and recommend expendable prints. Mounting on black-faced and -core foam board, and then cleanly trimmed, is an attractive and simple presentation.
