tara_rene
I took my new d-lite rx 2/4 lighting kit out of box. There was no instruction manual, I printed one off from the internet but it doesn't show any kind of directions. I watched some youtube videos, but they already had the lights mostly mounted on the stands. My question is that out of the box the part where you mount the light is facing down. That means when you mount it, the light faces up, how do I move it down so the light won't face up. I've tried pushing the gray button with handle and moving anything and everything and I can't figure it out! Help!
AJG
I don't own Elinchrom strobes, but the handle should loosen counter clockwise and then you should be able to move the light to your desired position. The grey button probably allows you to move the lever to a convenient position.
rodeo_joe1
I agree with Andrew. Turn the locking handle anti-clockwise and simply rotate the mounting collar clockwise. However, it looks like a piece of packing material may have been inserted to prevent rotation in transit. I.e. the strip of brown material visible in your picture. Try shoving it out with a small screwdriver or similar.
tony_clark
The button is to reposition the handle. Simply turn the handle counter clockwise to loosen, place on light stand, position flash head and tighten securely.
