<p><em>I have a non-digital Mecablitz 45CL-4 hammerhead flashgun which I need to convert to Digital</em><br>

<em>My Camera is A NIKON D5000.<br /></em><br>

<em>I need a SCA301 Standard foot (hot shoe flash adapter) and A SCA 300 A connecting cable,<br /></em><br>

<em>I cannot find these Items, Please Can anyone help iin this matter.</em><br>

<p>B&H offer the 300A cable used. Why the 301 standard foot? - You could look up whatever was meant for pre-AF Nikon TTL cameras and buy that one (used). I usually see compact flashes bundled with feet for whichever system by now cheaper than the feet used to be new on their own.<br>

The Nikon dedicated foot should at least force your shutter down to sync speed and provide a flash ready sign in your VF. - I'm not sure if the AF foot taking 4 AAA cells for an AF assist beam is worth going for. - With EOS 500 it only worked if the center AF spot was selected by hand, with Pentax it did not help very much in the dark and anyhow it wants another pack of Eneloops & spares. <br>

If you have a PC cable right now and no socket in your camera maybe buy a simple hotshoe PC socket adapter instead? - Riskier but your SCA stuff seems pretty bulky if you don't want it for SCA's extra features. With some flashes I was always wondering why they sometimes werent triggered by the 300A cable & stuff.</p>
