john_schnell1 Posted March 13, 2016 Share Posted March 13, 2016 <p>I have found an SX-70 sonar in near perfect visual condition at a local antique shop, and it seems to function except for an issue with the sonar auto focus. When I press the shutter button half way the focus will ALWAYS turn to 3.5 feet, no matter what is in front of the sonar. I had one long ago and it did not have that bug, but I'm afraid it's only a sample of one. My recollection was that it was pretty accurate, though easily fooled by even such things as a cobweb, and that it was pretty notoriously complicated. </p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
