I was with a client at a racing event this past weekend, getting an eyeful (and a very loud earful!) of dirt track sprint car racing (they sell to that group, and have their own team). Spent most of the time shooting documentary video during a marathon day, but got in some stills along the way, too. Here's one of their crew changing out a tire. They go through a LOT of tires. Shot any motorsports lately? Heck, anything with a motor? Share!

Matt Laur
I used six cameras on the shoot, one of which was a GoPro mounted to the roll cage on the team car. I thought I'd put it someplace the flung mud couldn't get to it, but alas no. Very glad that GoPro provides such good enclosures for their cameras.

john_harper9
Finally a Wednesday with Internet access - we've been off the grid camping in the Western US. After slogging up a muddy road in rain and sleet to the Green River Lakes in Wyoming a week ago, we were rewarded the next morning with fantastic views of the Wind River range with clearing storm clouds.

Wouter Willemse
No motorsports, but my car brought me nice places - and then the legs had to do a pretty nice climb up to reach one of the most fascinating places I've ever been. It was warm, humid, steep and so very worth it.
