Nikon Wednesday 2016: #6

<p>Sometimes you just need hamburger. Five Guys makes a pretty good one, though an order of their fries is a bit much. Still, it hit the red meat quotient pretty solidly tonight. Strolling the parking lot for some fresh air while we waited on our carry-out order, I noticed that there were in fact <em>exactly</em> five guys in the Five Guys. All this time I've wondered about that.<br /><br />Got some day-in-the-life normalcy on that SD card? Share a photo on this fine Nikon Wednesday!</p><div></div>

<p>Not sure who put up the net to keep the pigeons/seagulls downtown Vancouver, BC, but the crows build their nest within it and appear to enjoy this seclusion.</p>

<p>Rain seems to have become the norm of our weather lately. So I have a bit of fun in PP with this shot of condensation and rain on my kitchen window.</p>

<p>Original was shot with a D7200 + 18-140mm. PP done with GIMP.</p><div></div>

<p>My dog had some growths removed. This is the site of one small lump. Growth was maybe 1/8th inch. Lots of stitches for such a tiny bump!</p><div></div>

<p>This photo was taken at the Milwaukee Domes model train show - a big draw for area families. A surprise to residents of the area came a few days later, when because of falling concrete within the aging structure, it was closed down. Hopes remain that it might be repaired, and re-open. The cost would reportedly be in the millions.</p><div></div>

<p>So I went to the Nikon D5/D500 launch event at the local camera store last night - and heeded Shun's warning of the potential danger of attending - all I got was this lousy T-Shirt (actuall, a polo shirt):</p>

This one was actually shot during a snowfall at 1/125, f/7.1, ISO 400. The shutter speed 'froze' the snow flakes.<br>
