<p>Great shots Sanford and Greg! I'm curious about the words in your shot though Greg - at first I assumed they were reflected in the water the way the other thing is (sorry not sure what it is either lol) but then I see they are not. Curiouser and curiouser!</p>

<p>Anyway - onto my images for this week. They were taken at an huge old electrical supply building which has since been turned into an art gallery and several small theatres. What is terrific about this place is that they kept as much of the original brick work as possible, particularly the outside façades. Street or wall art is encouraged, as you can see from my first post.</p><div></div>

<p>I was photographing something else when this gentleman caught my attention - perhaps it was his contemplative gaze that drew my attention, but it was also the light was falling on him that made me really want to capture what I saw.</p><div></div>

<p>Thanks Anthea and thanks for helping keep this POTW alive, if barely. I really like your B&W photo. There may be one more Olympus/Panasonic camera in my future just to take full advantage of my three fine Panasonic lenses. I'm enjoying my Fuji but still find it lagging behind even my older Panasonics in some areas.</p>

Another selfie. I bought this hat in Oakland. A nice Borsalino which goes with my silk Italian scarf tie or ascot . Though a little warm for a jacket.. Shucks it is too warm for any clothes lately. Sanford , kudos for brave work beyond call of duty to keep this forum alive. So much to learn and share if we choose I am thinking or if we have not gone to Sony or Fuji. ....Anyway, ignore the Mr Hyde look in shot #1; keep the more ahem elegant chap with the fedora for POTW. Aloha.<div></div>

<p>Doing this POTW requires no more effort that a few mouse clicks although I need to start using my M4/3 stuff a little more often. BTW, its 90° today even in cool Northern California. (ever tried to find the degree symbol on a Mac!)</p>

Encore photo....like waffles but no time to batter up. Eggos are depositories for stuff that counts. In this case real Vermont maple syrup, cream cheese, mashed banana and fresh blueberries. Mmm good.<div></div>
