Hard to beat the colors of Nature...best I can do is try not to screw them up.
Another example of color is this Swallowtail on a Lantana Bush.
( Canon FDn 200/4.0 Macro Lens )

Agree, good shots all...and doubly pleased that Canon's manual lenses from way back in the 80's still get it done in fine shape !

My FL-F 500/5.6 probably dates back to the 1969 or 1970. A beast of a lens, both huge and heavy, but optically superb (Fluorite works).

One more from the Folkfest..such a cool event!
FD 50mm 1.4 on this one and cropped to remove the bottom of the stage and few heads in front of me.

Sadly it loses a LOT of the impact in this smaller, lower quality image compared to the Flick link :/
Here is the flickr if you want to see it in full quality. :)
https://www.flickr.com/photos/lgabrielg/20360288585/in/dateposted-public/

Canon FDn 200/4.0 Macro...has definitely become one of my few favorite lenses.

This Morning Glory was all alone in an otherwise green planting at an Arboretum...I'm assuming a leftover from some year's previous planting, or introduced by a local bird or something.

Canon FDn 80-200/4.0-L is a good one for sure.

Took a short stroll through a patch of woods this morning in hopes of seeing a good cluster of mushrooms or something...came up on this sort of ho-hum mushroom but thought the Turkey feather behind it made for an interesting shot.

A couple more to close the month for me.
With FD 35mm F2.0 and FD 20mm F2.8
Sadly the impact of both images is really diminished when posted here as it robs the quality and "3d" pop of it specially on the first one but hope you like it. :)
