Here's hoping you have nice, clean, fresh water flowing to your tap. It's sure easy to take that sort of infrastructure for granted when its behaving itself. We live in a suburban area that's running on 65+ year old pipes, and things just fail now and then - especially during the heavier temperature swings in the summer's high 90's and the winter's low 10's. A local utility crew descended last night on ruptured 16" main that had just dug out a huge volume of red Maryland clay, and collapsed the pavement at a busy intersection, creating a truck-sized yawning sinkhole full of muddy water. Quite a mess! Shot some broken stuff? Share!

rodeo_joe1
Nothing broken here except the weather. After nearly a week of unbroken rain, there was a brief break this evening that allowed me to pick these ripe blackcurrants in the twilight gloom. Mustn't complain about the rain though, since it's plumped up the currants nicely.

They'll soon be broken down into jam, or maybe I'll just eat them as they are.

D7200 + 18-140mm kit lens.

Ed_Ingold
I dunno' about a higher shutter speed. The splash would look more like you see with your eye at 1/8 second. Something to experiment with, in any case.
