How to use Minolta 16 without cassette

<p id="yui_3_15_0_1_1437675808267_1677">The trick here is to make use the take up spool of a Kiev30 cassette---its metal</p>

<p id="yui_3_15_0_1_1437675808267_1682">spring clip can hold the 16mm lead and pull the film across from the supply chamber.</p>

<p id="yui_3_15_0_1_1437675808267_1685">To make the Kiev30 cassette take up spool engage with the film wining post of</p>

<p id="yui_3_15_0_1_1437675808267_1719">Minolta16, drill two holes on opposite side of diameter of top of Kiev30 cassette </p>

<p id="yui_3_15_0_1_1437675808267_1686">take up spool, such that its two teeth catch these holes.</p>

<p>Take a Kiev30 cassette( which is easily available), cut off the bridge, use its supply side to<br>

load film, it drops into Minolta16 easily, as the supply side of Kiev30/Minolta16 cassette is identical.</p>
