Is T3i a step up?

<p>That is, over the T2i? Other than the flip LCD, does the T3i really have any advantages over the T2i?<br>

<p>You can compare with <a href="http://www.dpreview.com/products/compare/side-by-side?products=canon_eos550d&products=canon_eos600d">DPReview's side by side</a>, but the quick answer is....no. Then read the conclusion of the 600D's review for more details.</p>

<p>I was aware of the reviews. But sometimes real users have different thoughts. Apparently not on this issue, however.<br>

<p>Digital cameras seem to have reached the stage were improvements are now incremental, rather than each new model being a quantum leap better than the old one. Features like the flip LCD can be a big deal for some - eg if you are shooting video. If that feature doesn't mean much to you, the T3i is basically the same as a T2i to you.</p>

<p>Image quality is the same. I still shoot my T2i, and with good glass it gives extraordinary results.</p>
