Ipad app for reading from SD cards?

Are there any apps besides the apple photo app that can read sd cards via apple's sd card reader? I want to go directly from my sd card

via the iPad to social networking sites without having to import the images to my camera roll first. Is this possible?

It's not exactly direct but it works to load to my Ipad and then wherever. If you take a portable drive you can also download to it.</p>

<p>Images directly from a camera are too large for "social networking" other than the Dropbox variety. That said, I can connect my Sony A7ii to an iPad by peer-to-peer Wi-Fi. I can also write directly to a Cloud application and link from there directly to an iPad or iPhone. There are also Wi-Fi CF and SD cards, but their performance is spotty.</p>

I have used Photogene4 - I beleive there was a small cost but it works well. You can do some post cleanup as well. it has

worked very wel, for me - posting to Instagram and Facebook

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. Unfortunately, none of them will meet my needs. I am trying to move images

from the SD card to other sites without first having to copy them to the iPad's camera roll. I have fuji's peer to peer wifi

and an apple sd card reader for iPad, but use of both of these require that I copy the images to the iPad camera roll

before doing anything else with them. That means the photos also end up in my photostream, and I don't typically want

them there.

 

I was hoping there was an app that accessed the images on the SD card and allowed the user to work with them directly,

but my hunch is that apple has not opened the APIs necessary for that to work.
