mikael_forslund
I am a beginner in MF and the Pentax67. I presumed that the exposed film frames should be rectangular with straight corners. After my first two rolls I see that the film is also exposed in a very small triangularly shaped area (perhaps 0.5 mm high and 1 mm long) above and below the straight corners of the film frames. It looks like the light during exposure reaches part of the film that rests on the two metal rolls that guides the film over the shutter. Hope that You can follow this!
My questions: Do anyone else see this behavior? Is this "normal" for the P67? Is it a film loading error or does the P67 need an adjustment? don_carter1
Every 6x7 I own or have owned, produces image area extending outward in the corners like what you are describing. Some more than others. (Pentax 6x7, Mamiya RB, Bronica GS1, Mamiya 7)
As far as I know, this is normal, and nothing to worry about.
chet_provoda
I also see this with my 6x7. As far as I know this is normal, and it hasn't been an issue when printing.
