Steve,

you don't mention "pre-Wetting" your film when you go to develop...

This is a standard procedure when working with color film...just add enough water at about the same temp your developer will be at, agitate every 30 seconds or so for a minute and a half,,,then immediately develop as normal. the idea being that you will have gotten the film wet and the developer will evenly coat it when it is added.

When first pouring in your chemicals, to your tank, you should RAP

the tank solidly on a table, sink or whatever in order to dislodge

the "Air-bells" from your film.

Until I began doing this about 30 yrs. ago I, too, had those little

black circles on my films.

Read an article in a photo mag which helped.
