how to ensure a perfect video??

how to ensure a video downloaded to our computer from remote server, is perfectly the same as the one on the remote server?
Sometimes downloading a file from a random unreliable server could lead to corrupted download but go unnoticed, firefox or chrome will not report to you that the download is unsuccessful or imperfect, it's rare, possible though.
I once downloaded the same file twice but they were with different SHD1 checksums, then I downloaded the files a few more time and then it was correct.
What can I do, especially on the hardware level, to ensure that the download is the intact? I know there is silent data corruption over time during the lifetime of any file, but is it possible to have silent corruption in the first place the file is downloaded? (i.e. different from the copies on the server, even the slightest)

Are you transferring whole files, or are you trying to use a utility that captures/records streaming video (like, from YouTube), recording them to local files? If video files are offered for download AS FILES, then they should arrive in perfect bit-for-bit shape, uncorrupted. If you're trying to rip video from streaming sources, then there are all sorts of problems that might occur because of network latency, bandwidth issues, etc. So, still need more details about what sort of material you're trying to copy.

hi thank you for your response
if they are offered for download as files, they should arrive in perfect bit-for-bit shape. Yes I agree, but it sometimes does not, it is rare though, but I'd like to know when it doesn't.
2. Yes, in most cases I am trying to rip videos from streaming sources where convenient one-click download is usually not offered, but I am not downloading from youtube or facebook, I can't give an exact site because those sites require private authentication and I am not only downloading from one site. but the streaming videos I usually come across with are Flash-like video, but I am not sure about their version or release.
Thank you and look forward to ur more replies.

and you see it ? you see it? this is the screenshot I just captured from Jdownloader
http://i57.tinypic.com/2hrz7s3.png
two files are dwonloaded 100% and their sizes matches, but MD5 CRC Check fail, I've tried to execute the MP4 , it plays fine, but could stop for a few seconds, winrar returns with error message for the rar archive and unable to extract at all.
I am on highspeed broadband 90Mbps/s upload and 90Mbp/s download with A- grade in speedtest
There was no physical disconnection of the lan cable.
It's really an issue from download to storage

Don't bother with some third party downloader. If the video is available as a file, just use HTTP - right click the link, "Save As..." and save the file.

If you're ripping off someone else's streaming video that they don't want to provide to you as a file (usually, this is for copyright and licensing reasons), then you will have to rely on notoriously unreliable local recording of the stream. Can't help you with that.
