It's more important for people to share what they don't like as well. I found it confusing at first and normally, I wouldn't waste my time trying to figure out what's going on. Then, you have the photos with the captions on the left and then a pop up with the same text. Didn't make sense to me. I'd rather see the photo across the screen with the pop up option. The photos themselves are interesting, but overall, it's almost overwhelming to get through.

How do you turn off the slide show?

As I roam the UI of that site with my cursor to find a drop down menu option in order to turn it off, there's a spastic pop up cavalcade of photos from other photographers I didn't intend on looking at.

The photos are really interesting given the chance I can look at them if I can just get past the busy layout and unintuitive pop up style navigation. I still couldn't figure out the names of the photographers who took the shots due to the site's GUI design.

It works pretty well on my tablet. Haven't

checked it with a PC browser yet.

Some of the captions break oddly, forcing the

viewer to another page to finish reading.

Overall it's an interesting mix of documentary

and promotional photography. But it seems to lean

more toward promotional.

We're looking into that. Basically, one can have a photo report like these ones...
http://asceticexperience.com/portfolio/heavens-joy/
http://asceticexperience.com/portfolio/circular-world/
http://asceticexperience.com/portfolio/spiritual-meaning-christs-cave-us/

...where the description of each photo can be/is different from the leading text of the entire photo report. It is rather a thinking problem from our side. We'll try to solve that.

Thanks for appreciation!

By going on the thumbnails row and clicking on a thumbnail. But I think that you're right. We must find a better way to stop/start it.

By the way, all the photos are myself. :)

Thanks for the feedback.

I guess you are asking about feedback on photos, not text but I will go for it anyway. You might tone down some patronizing and belittling language like:
" Philosophy sets up a system of thought which in most cases bears little relationship to life.",
" It is impossible for human logic to find the truths of Christianity."
"So people who don’t know God don’t know anything at all, and this spiritual darkness can be eternal!"

The message is fine for your intended audience,

but you might consider hiring an editor, or consulting with another copywriter, to help

convey the desired tone for a predominantly

English speaking audience.

Regarding the breaks in captions, I'll need to

transfer the screenshots from my tablet later.

The photo.net mobile browser doesn't have an

option for attaching images.

Aha! Good to know. Thanks a lot! No problem. ANY feedback is appreciated. I'll try to see what can I do because sometimes the text is quoted. However I think that because I write "based on..." I can soften sometimes the expression here and there. Is not my intention to (intellectually) kill someone rather to make him alive. :-)

I guess that, unlike me, you're a native English speaker. The text sounds odd to you?

Btw, thanks for your intention about breaking captions.
